Oriental Bazaar  Daily in Tokyo

It's hard to miss the Oriental Bazaar - its grand red and green exterior welcomes you into a real temple to Japanese consumerism, serviced by English-speaking staff.

One of Tokyo's largest art and antiques stores, established on the same Omotesando Dori site since 1954, Oriental Bazaar is a treasure trove stretching across four floors, with kimonos, china, vases and lamps, books and stationery, paintings, traditional Japanese furniture, Mokuhanga (woodblock prints), Buddhist art and sculpture.

In short, you'll find everything from cheap stuff to high art here. In spite of the tourists on a one-stop shop for gifts to take home, plenty of locals shop here as well, keeping prices reasonable.

Directions By Train: Harajuku or Omotesando stations.
